New Transitions Program Available at CIL
Are you currently in an institution or nursing home? Do you feel you can live on your own?
Call Center for Independent Living-Fresno (CILF) to ask about the new Transitions Program!
CILF empowers people with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the community. If you feel you have the potential to live on your own or are thinking of alternative long-term care options, the Transitions Program may be able to help.
The Transitions Program can help with expenses associated with transitioning out of a nursing home or institution. These may include, but are not limited to :
- 1st months rent
- Moving expenses
- Retrieval of items in storage
- Assistive Technology Items
- Personal Assistance not covered by IHSS
This deinstitutionalization program is available to persons with disabilities in Fresno, Madera , Merced, Tulare and Kings Counties.
