CIL-Fresno is proud to announce the opening of our newest service program Creative Careers. It is vendorized by the Department of Rehabilitation to provide job development services for individuals with disabilities.
Creative Careers has already successfully placed five individuals in good jobs, and has several more leads. At this time Creative Careers is helping more than 30 people find jobs. The Counselors at the Department of Rehabilitation have been outstanding partners to help us move this vital service forward.
We are also very pleased to announce that Creative Careers has been approved for a $12,000 grant from the Whitney Foundation. This grant will assist in the costs of getting the program to its top operational functioning in its first year of services.
