What is Assistive Technology (AT)?

Assistive technology are the tools and resources used by individuals with disabilities to help improve their quality of life and live more independently. As the result of grant funding from the Fresno Regional Foundation, CIL is proud to announce the opening of the Assistive Technology Lab. The Lab has the most updated assistive technology hardware and software, including speech recognition software, screen reading software, accessible keyboards and mice, head pointing device, magnification, and much more!
